Well you have stumbled on to the Mercury webpage. Poor souls. We are a York based punk rock band who have been going for about 9 months. We write our own songs but we sometimes do covers. Our influences include Green Day (mostly) and other punk bands such as Blink 182.
The band consists of:-
Me, Miles Morrison (aka Grim):- Lead singer/Guitarist (no job, no girlfriend, nobody home)
Nathan Wood:-Guitarist (large,tall,and drinksome)
Toby Coleman:-Bass Guitarist (King of the Toby Dance,(see Miles' random zone) and Fays' bitch)
And Neil Wilkinson:-Drums (Profesional Hobo)

I would like to give thanks to our new groupies Chloe (#1), Emily (#2) and groupie Fred (#3) for putting so many posts on the webpage and finding Neil attractive. Poor Fools.

24/5/05---Website open!!!
After about a days work the Mercury offical webpage offically open!!!
We talked about it and I finally got round to doing it. Please sign our guestbook and all the rest and i would like to thank the rest of the band (for letting me ruin there good names) Fay Johnston for putting up with Neil and Emmaline Slater, Andrew Legard, Jenny McCarthy and the B6 people (you know who you are)for being supportive when the band was first getting started.
